Foam packaging is very popular all around the world.

There are many kinds of foam packaging materials. The most widely used is eps and epe packaging products. These two products both have the advantages of lightweight, anti-collision, water and moisture proof, they can be widely used to pack electronic products, lights, glass products, household appliances, etc.

The ways of making eps and epe packaging products are quite different:

EPS foam packaging products are made by heat and vacuum in the moulds while epe foam packaging products are made by extruders. To make eps packaging products, you have to prepare eps pre-expander, a shape molding machine with different moulds, a steam boiler, a steam accumulator, air compressor, air tank, water tank, cooling tower, etc. To make epe products, you need epe extruding line, booster pump, cooling tower, etc, and you also need to use butane or LPG for the foaming.

EPS foam packaging products can be molded at one time, however, if you want epe packaging products, you use epe foam packing machine have to make epe sheets first, then re-process it to get different shapes of products. From this point of view, eps packaging products are easier to make, but epe products are more flexible than eps products and are easily degradable.
